Chris Conley joined Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. in February 1995 as the Director of Commercial Real Estate and was responsible for leasing, sales, and property management for three properties totaling 260,000 square feet. Under Conley’s leadership, the Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. portfolio expanded to more than 2.34 million square feet. This exceptional growth occurred through six acquisitions and nine new developments, seven of which were Kroger anchored centers. Chris was also responsible for two additional Kroger deals, bringing the total to nine and making Oberer the largest Kroger developer in the Dayton region.
Chris spearheaded the company’s first mixed use initiative with accomplished results at The Exchange at Spring Valley and is currently focused on yet another mixed use development, Cornerstone of Centerville, consisting of over 150 acres and valued at over $108,000,000. As part of the Cornerstone development, Conley was instrumental in bringing the first Costco and Cabela’s to the Dayton market.
In addition to his development expertise, Conley is responsible for the completion of many national and regional build-to-suit projects for clients such as Starbucks, Skyline Chili, Blockbuster, Chipotle, TGI Fridays, PNC Bank, Meadwestvaco, Teradata, Direct Energy, multiple Primed Physician Group locations and Miami Valley Hospital. He has also achieved success in closing millions in sales of out parcels to users such as Wendy’s, Buffalo Wild Wings, Liberty Bank, Fifth Third Bank, Tim Horton’s, Lowes, Kohl’s, Costco and Cabela’s.
Conley is a licensed broker and is currently the President of Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. and an Officer and Partner in the company’s development operation. In 2012, he again took the reigns as Asset Manager in an effort to provide the utmost efficiencies for the commercial real estate portfolio. He is a member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors (past C/I Board Member), NAIOP (past Board Member), International Council of Shopping Centers, and BOMA.
A graduate of The Ohio State University, Chris dual majored in Accounting and Finance. He resides in Centerville with his wife and four sons.
DANIELLE KUEHNLE, DIRECTOR NEW DEVELOPMENT SALES & LEASING
Danielle began her career with Oberer Realty Services in 2002. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Wright State University and received her real estate license in 2003. Danielle has over 20 years experience serving as a vital communication link between the customer and management, and continues to serve in that capacity as the Director of New Development Sales and Leasing.
During her tenure at Oberer, Danielle has completed almost $40 million in real estate transactions focused primarily on office and retail leasing and sales of both Oberer-owned real estate and third party commercial real estate. She is currently responsible for sales and leasing of Oberer’s new development projects including the 42 acre mixed-use development, The Exchange at Spring Valley, and the 125 acre Cornerstone of Centerville.
As an active member of the Dayton Area Board of Realtors Commercial/Industrial Group, Danielle played a key role in the development and successful implementation of the Dayton commercial/industrial web-based listing exchange service and is currently serving as Chair for the DABR C/I Group for her second term. Danielle is also a memeber of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors and the International Council of Shopping Centers, and is the local liaison to the Ohio Association of Realtors Commercial/Industrial Group.
Danielle is actively involved in her hometown of Miamisburg where she has been a member of the Miamisburg City School Board of Education since 2009, most recently elected in 2011. She and her husband have two children.

John Orr joined Oberer Realty Services, Ltd. in 2000, and has been providing superior customer service to his commercial real estate clients for over a decade. Prior to joining Oberer, John spent four years in commercial real estate focused on third party transactions of retail sales and leasing, site assessment and land acquisitions at the former Larry Stein Realty company. He brought to Oberer not only his commercial experience, but also strong contacts and excellent working relationships with the Dayton area brokers and business community.
John currently specializes in land sales, build-to-suit opportunities and leasing of the office and retail portfolio owned by Oberer Companies and its affiliates. In addition to Oberer properties, he also specializes in third party leasing and sales throughout the Dayton region..
Both new and loyal clients have trusted John with their real estate needs time and time again. From researching options to inking the deal, John works hand in hand with clients through the entire acquisition process.
Penny joined Oberer Realty Services in July, 2012, with seven years experience in commercial real estate and development at RG Properties including development coordination, managing multi-million dollar construction contracts, obtaining environmental and DOT permits, and scripting LOIs and leases for prospective tenants. Her wide range of responsibilities at Oberer include regular site visits and maintenance oversight, construction management and fiscal accountability of the Oberer portfolio. Penny’s extensive contact list and growing relationships with contractors and vendors helps keep our properties in excellent condition.
Penny is a graduate of Wright State University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science with an emphasis in natural resource management and wetland conservation. Her unique education and experience are proving to be valuable assets to the Oberer team.
Janie came to Oberer Realty Services in January, 2007, after 10 years in marketing, advertising and public relations project management at a local advertising agency. She has also been a long-standing member of the Springboro Planning Commission which gives her insight into land use and development issues, as well as site plan, zoning and permitting processes.
Janie is a graduate of Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science in General Management. In addition to marketing experience, she brings to Oberer creativity, organization, attention to detail, and dedication to the team goal of exceeding the expectations of each client.
Chuck has over 30 years of commercial maintenance experience and expertise with Oberer Realty Services. He is responsible for overseeing maintenance and upkeep at all Oberer-managed commercial properties, including regular inspections of all grounds and buildings, troubleshooting any maintenance and/or service issues, and coordination of repairs. Chuck's property knowledge and his dedication to quality and customer service has enabled our commercial properties to be kept in excellent condition.
